Vaccination Certificate Required by some Airports
Some states are demanding RT-PCR report not older than 48 hours.
Rajasthan has done away with the reports, if the passengers produce final vaccination certificate with 2nd dose taken at least 28 days prior to flying.
As per mandates, before you travel you need to make sure that you are carrying Covid negative report or the vaccination certificates to prove that you are fit to travel and will not pose to be a an infection spreader.
Passengers planning to fly out to other cities now need to make sure that they are vaccinated and are carrying the valid certificate with them either in the form of hard copy or by showing their fully vaccinated certification on Aarogya Setu app.
The vaccination certificate can be of one or both the doses. Rajasthan state has waived the need for RT-PCR report if the arriving passenger shows final vaccination certificate wherein the 2nd vaccination was taken at least 28 days prior to flying. Nagaland and Odisha are also going the Rajasthan way whereas Punjab allows passengers with one dose taken 2 weeks before.
Maharashtra, Meghalaya and Andaman require Covid negative report not older than 48 hours. The negative report rule is so strict in the states of Goa, Meghalaya and Nagaland that passengers are not allowed to board the flight at origin station if they don’t carry the report.
People who do not have RT-PCR report are required to undergo mandatory rapid antigen test by UP, Nagaland, Odisha, Andaman, Mizoram and Jammu & Kashmir. It has also been reported that some of these states do not charge for the RAT, states like Gujarat, Kerala and Assam charge between 500 to 900 rupees.
A quarantine period is not needed if the passengers carry their reports with them. This applies to Gujarat, Chandigarh, Manipur, Tripura and Odisha. Tamil Nadu requires asymptomatic and negative passengers to be in self-monitoring or 2 weeks.
