Chilly Breeze accompanies a Dip in Mercury Levels

According to the prediction shared from the Meteorological Department, light showers are expected over the weekend, while minimum temperature would consistently stay put around at 6 Degrees.
The severity of weather has affected normal life as it was shivering time for almost everyone. The Sky remained partial cloudy along with chilly winds flowing across the city.
Past records suggest that this yearswinter has broken all records of the past 25 years. Mount Abu remained the coldest with lowest temperature of Zero degrees recorded last week.
In a late evening move, the Collector has announced that all schools will open as usual on 2nd January, but school timing for upto Class V will begin from 0930 hrs, which is expected to be a slightly warmer time of the day as compared to the early mornings.
This order has been passed from the Collectors Office and applies to all Government and Private Schools in the District.
