[Photos] Udaipur Division hit by Heavy Rainfall

Moderate to heavy rains continue to lash throughout Udaipur division on Tuesday obstructing commutation especially in remote and interior villages. Where Kotra block remained cutoff from road connectivity after heavy rains, many trees were found uprooted in the main city.

The unabated rains since Saturday took a toll on the rail connectivity as well when the North Western Railways (NWR) on Monday cancelled 9 trains including four on Udaipur-Ahmedabad route. Likewise, many bus routes on Baran-Kota, Sirohi-Jhalore and Barner-Munabao routes got disconnected due to heavy rainfall.

Private bus operators and RSRTC have also detoured buses from the interiors of Jhalawar, Jhalore Barmer, Sirohi, Rajsamand and other districts of the state.
