Baghdara Nature Park to provide night camp facility

Baghdara Nature Park will provide night camp facility from next month. Tourists can now enjoy night stays and experience night life of jungle.
Just 20 kilometres away from the city, Baghdara Nature Park is making arrangements for night halts for visitors. The park which is known for its crocodiles will also be known for night camps from now on. The park will organise adventure activities during the day. A cafeteria will also be arranged for the visitors.
Forest department gave a tender for 3 lakh rupees to Aravali Adventure Company for setting up adventure activities and camping site. Cafeteria will also be the responsibility of this company. Work has already started for this purpose and visitors can avail these facilities from next month in Baghdara.
Chief Forest Conservator Rahul Bhatnagar said that the park is well known for crocodiles. Since it is a dense forest area, panthers, deer, sambhar, other wild life and reptiles can also be seen. A variety of bird species are also found in Baghdara. He said that watching the crocodiles in pond during the day and experiencing night life of jungle in the camp is going to be an amazing experience for public from the next month. Visitors will get the opportunity to hear sounds of wild animals at night.
The cafeteria will be similar to that of Biological Park in terms of being a plastic free zone. DFO Suhel Majbur said that proper security arrangements are being planned for the visitors camping during night.
