Badi Lake overflow short by one ft.

Badi lake overflow is short by just one ft. The water level rose to 31 feet late evening on Monday.

If it gets more water by one more ft, Badi lake will overflow soon. Water flowing in from the catchment areas increased the water level of Badi lake to 31 feet. Just some more water and the city will enjoy another overflowing lake.

Constant inflow of water increased the water level of Mahi in Banswara and all of 16 gates of the dam were lifted. Pichola is getting water continuously due to water flowing at 3 feet 9 inches in Sisarma river. On the other hand, since Udaisagar gates are open, Vallabhnagar dam is also experiencing overflow. Water from Vallabhnagar dam has started moving towards the dam at  Badgaon.

Both Madar rivers are already overflowing. Rain last night in the catchment area increased water level in Devas dam (I) by ½ ft making it 26 feet 6 inches. Now all eyes are set on the requirement of that one more ft for Badi since the thought of overflow has already increased heartbeats of Udaipur city.
