2nd College level Convocation of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology will be held on 21 Jan. at 10 am at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Auditorium. Dean, Dr. N.S. Rathore informed that B. Tech degree will be awarded to the students of CTAE and CDFST who have passed in the last two years, 2009-10 and 2010-11.

660 students from various branches engineering including Agriculture, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Information Technology and 110 students of Dairy and Food Technology will get their degree in the function. 4 students of Dairy Science and 13 students of CTAE will be awarded Gold Medal.

The students are enthusiastically turning up for the event and so far 350 students from CTAE and 75 students from CDFST have marked their advance presence.

The Chief Guest of the Convocation will be Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group and Amity University while Prof. S. S. Chahal, Vice-chancellor; MPUAT will address the gathering in the ceremony. The students will be conferred with the B.Tech degree in the presence of the Dean of both the colleges and members of university management committee.

On the same day Instructional Block which has been constructed for the students of I Year of CTAE will also be inaugurated by Ashok K. Chauhan. The Instructional Block comprises of 6 classrooms and separate labs for Physics and Chemistry.

The Deans, Dr. N.S. Rathore and Dr. Maya Chaudhary will read out the Progress Report of the last two years of CTAE and CDFST respectively. The rehearsal for the function is scheduled on 20 Jan.
