The Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament 2012, of MLSU started today, however, the winners of last year’s ‘Cricket Tournament-2011’ are still begging for their prize money and consolation certificates.

Players of the University College of Social Sciences and Humanities Cricket team in the leadership of Nadeem Khan, student leader, approached the Vice-Chancellor of MLSU complaining about the irregularities by the College of Arts administration, that have stretched for the entire year.

“Each player of the winning Team was promised a sum of Rs. 2000 Cash, 1 Track Suit, a Memento and a Certificate, respectively, by the college administration. The Dean himself kept promising regarding the same, but hasn’t delivered anything yet. The morale of the players goes down if they are not awarded on time, and the same is happening with our team”, said Nadeem Khan, Student Leader.
