Children affected with HIV positive received a great treat when they were taken out for a city-ride by a team from Samanvay Udaipur.

These kids are from UNPLH (Udaipur Network For People Living With HIV), Badgaon. There were a total of 10 kids including Sameer, who celebrated his belated-birthday with Samanvay Udaipur.

Osho Pandey, Diksha Mohale, Kusum Joshi, Komal Joshi, Chandani Gaud and Priyanka Sanadhya were the personel from Samanvay, who arranged this tour for the kids, and also contributed for the same. The group collected donations for this tour and the vehicle was arranged by Anoop Jamvani, a businessman from Udaipur.

In conversation with UT, Osho Pandey said, “This is a part of activities we regularly do when we are able to collect enough amount in donations to carry out these kind of tasks or events”. He added, “We collected donations to organize the trip and every member of the group brought home-made eatables for the kids.”

The trip started from Badgaon at 12.30pm and concluded on Dudhtalai; they also went to Gulab Bagh.

On asking about future events like this, Osho replied, “We are planning to buy some stuff like Carrom Board, Cricket Kit and other items for these kids but that depends on how soon we are able to collect donations for the same.”

Groups like Samanvay, Udaipur make us think that instead of just living for ourselves, we can atleast help people in need or can at the least, spread a smile.
