Dreams Reloaded!I was an average kid in my school days, well to be very precise I started off well in the junior classes by being among the toppers however in higher classes I became an average one. It was somewhere in the 90’s that everyone started asking about the aim of life or the dream of my life. As a 12 year old kid I had only few reasons to be in this world. My world after the school was pretty about video games, cycling and learning karate.

I always dreamt of being one among the top racers or a karate champion. Then one day I saw a fighter plane passing above my school while we were practicing karate. I was like “What was that?” and instantly my dream changed. I started my search by talking to my parents and teachers about being a pilot. The whole world became so much bigger and over a period of time it became my dream to be a pilot.

And now, I am marketeer as a profession have a beautiful wife and an adorable daughter. At an early age of 32, life has brought me to a perfect work-life balance scenario where it feels so amazing to live each day along with my parents. So it was for this day I was brought into this world, was this one of my dreams as a teenager? I would still say I had bigger plans, so much bigger that sometimes I felt the life is so much shorter.

There is a very famous quote that says”Have a dream that does not let you sleep”. I am not talking about the dreams that we see with closed eyes, it’s the dreams we see with open eyes that paves the road for us. Day dreaming can be injurious if it’s not worked upon. Everything in this world is created twice, once in our dreams and then in reality. As a kid we do not have limit to our dreams since we don’t know how things work in this world. Or rather I would say we have our parents to take care of the whole world as we keep dreaming and planning for our future. Sometimes I really feel blessed to be born in an Asian country as our parents take care of us till we are well settled and sometimes even after that.

Dreams do not have any boundaries and it’s only our limited knowledge that bounds us from dreaming big. As we travel, explore and learn new things our dreams keeps getting upgrades. Therefore in my opinion we should not only work towards getting there but we should always look forward to upgrade our dreams too.

Living for a dream is as much important as living the dream. Unless we do not enjoy the result of our hard work, it will not motivate us to craft our next bigger dream. So live your dream and keep giving them some serious upgrades. The power of your hard work and the sharpness of your knowledge can take your life beyond your dreams.
