Now days all males and females are fond of getting their hair colored and they try so many thing to get shiny and perfect hair but all these things actually destroys their hair. Usually few hairs break or fall everyday and it is normal (On average 100 strands of hair fall every day) but when excess hair start falling then it is a matter of concern.

If someone is facing a problem of hair fall then usually it is recommended to have a high protein diet but you should know the exact cause of hair fall whether it is a side effect of any product, drug, treatment, viral or fungal infection, dry scalp, pregnancy or it is a nutritional deficiency. If it’s a nutritional deficiency then it can be corrected with the help of proper diet planning.

One of the biggest reasons behind the hair fall is unhealthy diet. Today’s youth is fond of eating junk foods and all kinds of unhealthy foods. There are some points which need to be considered if you want to correct the problem of hair fall.

First of all eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Raw fruits and vegetables should be the part of your daily diet.

Secondly drink plenty of water as it helps to remove toxins from your body and hydrates your skin. You can also take juices or milk in your diet to maintain the fluid balance.

Protein is the base of your hair so a diet rich in protein is usually recommended. Eat high protein diet including milk and milk products, eggs, fish, pulses, legumes, soy bean and poultry.

Next important nutrient is vitamin E which is required for hair growth can be obtained from nuts, seeds, olive oil and avocados etc.

B-complex vitamins also play an important role in hair growth. Vitamin B6, B12, Biotin and folic acid are required in the diet. Eat whole grain cereals, fish, chicken, nuts, soybean, liver, kidney, avocados, oranges, leafy vegetables, broccoli, milk and milk products to obtain all these nutrients.

Another important vitamin is vitamin C which prevents hair breakage and splitting. To get this vitamin you need to eat citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, tomatoes, berries, grapes, pineapple and water melons etc.

Next important vitamin which is required for the healthy growth of the scalp and it helps in stimulating the follicles. Vitamin A can be obtained from both plant and animal sources. Animal sources include egg, liver and fish etc. Plant sources include yellow, red and orange fruits and vegetables, carrot, turnip, green leafy vegetables etc.

Copper deficiency is seen to cause hair fall, so a diet rich in copper is also important which includes nuts and seeds etc. Iron and zinc rich foods should also be included in the diet like chicken liver, sea foods, milk, nuts, legumes and whole grains.

Include all these foods in your diet and help your hair gain strength and shine. Hair fall will not magically reduce, however, with these elements included in your every day life, you will see substantial changes within weeks.
