For your own benefit- Part 2

Love is not a feeling of challenge; it is not a game where you can bet with yourself. You get to realise this only when you are left alone as a result of your attitude towards your “soulmate”. The whole point is that the word “soulmate” is being taken very liberally and understood as a standby. “Soulmate” is a soulmate, and not a spare part. Never ever treat someone so lightly to seek their company only in your times of need. Be with them as per their needs, too.

Relationships are definitely a matter of give and take without which they cannot survive.

Expectations are part of social behaviour. So why not to expect? Hope but never expect is again not in my agenda. Unfulfilled expectations lead to frustration, thereby destructing the relationship.

For your own benefit- Part 2

“A friend in need is a friend indeed” is the most common quote that we have been hearing since we were kids. It has become a contradictory statement now because everyone has started preaching that if you expect anything from others, you are bound to be disappointed. Where has that friendship gone then? If you cannot live up to the bond of friendship, then you are not fit for any kind of bonding because friendship is the simplest of all as you can be yourself with your friends.

One phone call, one text message, one word of appreciation and few words that declare that you miss someone are a treasure. They give you happiness nothing else can. It’s all about togetherness that matters. Our reflection in the mirror smiles back to us and says I love you.
