Money – The Unmentioned Wonder of the World

In ancient times wealth was articulated in the form of gold coins, silvers, and antiques and today it has taken the form of notes and coins of varied shapes, values and color. Though the mold has undergone transformation but not its necessity.

Today it can no longer be considered sheer dirt of hands, given the fact that moral values can’t be the only factor for survival of life. One commits a crime, then spends some cash and gets a relieved release from cell.

Everyone knows that money holds the seat of power so that’s not what is going to be discussed here. Just wonder for a while, from a pin to a person each entity is purchasable. So what is going to be the end of this?

When everything can be bought by money… is not everything’s VALUE demeaning? Imagine a life when you could purchase a good not on the basis of the currency stashed in your wallet but by the number of good acts, selfless service you did. These shall be the riches possessed.

A parallel can be drawn with the earlier barter system where people exchanged the food and the groceries instead of literally buying. From the manufacturer’s end to the consumer’s everything goes under the mill without any single involvement of money.

Then certainly it would become the age of the sages and the perfect souls. Till then let’s live with the imperfections; inbuilt and extrinsic.
