44 CRPF jawans were killed and scores got injured when an SUV vehicle filled with 350 kilo of explosives slammed into the bus that had CRPF troops. The horrifying incident took place at Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on 14th Feb.
As per reports, Jaish-e-Mohammad which is backed by Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack. The suicide bomber car has killed 44 jawans and injured 20 people. The vehicle was reduced to a heap of metal after the blast. The attack has been reported as the deadliest terror attack which is sure to evoke a strong response from India. The car was being driven by Adil Ahmad Dar who joined Jaish in 2018.
PM Modi said that the attack is despicable and the sacrifice of the brave soldiers will not go waste. Among the deceased were 4 personnel from Rajasthan out of which one was from Rajsamand, Udaipur. Narayan Lal Gurjar had returned on duty on 12th February after a good vacation with family. He is survived by a son and a daughter. As per the family members and the relatives and friends, he was a very brilliant person. His name is still written on the school board as he had a passion for defence forces and was a source of inspiration for everyone in his village.
