The election names of the Handicraft Manufacturers Association of Udaipur are declared. The association had held a meeting on last Saturday to re-establish a channelized organisation for the development and enhancement of the handicraft sector.

The election names of the Handicraft Manufacturers Association of Udaipur are declared. The association had held a meeting on last Saturday to re-establish a channelized organisation for the development and enhancement of the handicraft sector.

President Kapil Bansali informed the names elected for the organisation. Sunil Soni of Natural Handicrafts is selected as Vice President and Arun Agrawal of Art Stones Gallery is appointed as Joint Secretary.

The executive committee members selected are: Pawan Sharma (Krishna Arts), Akshay Parmar (Shilpi Arts), Akshay Jain (Padmawati Arts), Lalchandra (Vishwakarma Arts), Suresh Chordia (National Arts) and Jagdish Sharma (Kailash Arts).

The HMA Mangement Committee declared Santosh Kalra as the Book Coordinator. The meeting that was held regarding the committee emphasized on major point such as: – Election to be held in every 2 years – One picnic and a get together in a year – Booklet publishing for the promotion of handicrafts – Association registration work to commence with immediate effect – Every year Shivratri program will be organized by HMA – Management committee’s tenure will be of 2 years

Treasurer Pradeep Kalra also informed that the meeting which went on for 2 hours discussed that the new membership will be open for handicraft businessmen from Udaipur zone only. The association will help all Handicraft professionals and also work for the development of Handicraft sector which is largest followed by tourism in Udaipur.

President Kapil Bansali and Secretary Pushpendra Parmar were present with all top executive members.
