He Ran for his life…But Still

One afternoon in a busy market, a crowd was chasing a small boy and screaming “chor, chor”. When the boy was finally caught, the first thing he got was a slap from one smart citizen. When asked forcefully, the child who had fear in his eyes, showed his hand where he was hiding what he had stolen -A packet of biscuits worth Rs.5/- and inconsolable tears started flowing from his eyes.

This story happened in Chandani Chowk, Delhi and the author Ankur Mudgal was one of the eye witnesses of this touching incident that compelled him to think about such children and the egocentric society.
