Hindustan Zinc Limited has been awarded with “Level 2 -Significant Achievement in HR Excellence” in 5th CII National HR Excellence Award 2014.

In the year 2012 & 2013, HZL was awarded with “Strong Commitment to HR Excellence”. This year HZL received Level 2 for its commitment and showcasing higher level of maturity & rigor in following the HR Processes & Systems in the areas of Leadership, HR Strategy, People Knowledge & Competencies and People Well Being & Engagement.

CII HR Excellence Award Assessment process involved sharing of data in the form of application document based on RADAR (Results, Approach, Deployment, Assessment and Review) approach.

Further Onsite Assessment was carried out by a panel comprising of 4 senior trained assessors for a period of 4 days which included interviewing CEO, Functional Heads, Employees, Contract workforce, Union and members from society.

Each company was assessed on a score of 1000 marks on stringent standards. Organizations that crossed 500 marks were recognized as ‘Significant Achievement in HR Excellence’ and the ones that crossed 600 were conferred with ‘Leadership in HR Excellence’.

It is the most difficult and prestigious award assessment in the field of HR. The award was conferred in an event in New Delhi.
