I am a woman. I am Muslim, I am Hindu, I am Dalit but I am no more a woman. I can be raped. I can be kidnapped, brutally tortured and murdered but how can I be a woman? I have no name. I am just a body without soul.
Our Nation was once known for its moral values and culture. But now a days because of few insane and uncivilized fools, we are losing our moral values.
Girls were being worshipped in our society few years back. Now these small children are no more safe. We can’t trust on our relatives and friends anymore. Don’t know who turns up as a real villain for our child.
Zainab’s story is still fresh in our minds. Nirbhaya never died because her soul is not resting in peace. She wanted justice in 6 months but all our efforts have been wasted in these years.
Asifa is a new name of Nirbhaya. She was being drugged, tortured and killed without any fault. I am a woman. I can feel the pain of that innocent girl who was strangled to death. She is just not a story for me. She was an innocent soul who could never have dreamt of this torture. She was used as a scapegoat for few insane , heartless men. Brutality has been increased with each passing day. Names might have changed but mindsets have not. Let’s not cry over the body of that poor baby who lost her life.
Let’s stand up against cruelty .
Only females can stop this crime by standing against the evil. Don’t hide the names of criminals in your families. Don’t protect rapists , no matter what relation you share with them. Don’t let others take advantage of your children. Pray for Asifa’s soul and work together to protect other girls who live near by you.
Don’t let Asifa die in our hearts. She had full right to see the world with her beautiful eyes. Her dreams were killed untimely. Her body was crushed with stones but she should never die like any other girl who have lost life in past few years.
We must demand death sentence for these criminals who are being protected by few ergastic and powerful beasts. Humanity never felt so much ashamed before seeing this heinous crime.
It’s really difficult to say “Rest in peace Asifa”. You can’t rest untill these beasts are punished for what they have done. Asifa, my daughter, curse these criminals to die like no one has ever died in history. Scream from heaven, let this planet hear your loudest cry. Let the hearts of mothers be filled with the teardrops which you shed from clouds in the form of heaviest rain.
Let me remember this untill I die…Asifa..you are not a story.
