About AU

The Udaipur Administration has taken up an initiative in the form of Action Udaipur, primarily to enable and empower citizens to turn their ideas into action through a well-planned, organized and inclusive approach.

This initiative comes from the base that we as citizens have great ideas to improve our community / city – whether it be in the area of Healthcare, Society in general, running the administration/government, etc. Obvious bottlenecks and protocol coupled with lack of resources – people, fund, support; lead to non-presentation or non-execution of such ideas.

The AU portal has tried to bridge the gap between idea generation and execution. Any citizen, through Action Udaipur, can post his or her idea as a project, invite volunteers, and clearly specify what kind of support is needed from the district administration to execute the idea which is now a project.

Projects will be approved by the district administration and for these projects they will provide the needed administrative support as applicable and feasible depending on requirements.

The ultimate goal of Action Udaipur is to encourage the citizens’ contribution towards growth of the city, transformation, connecting them with each other, and provide better visibility to all citizen initiatives.

With the AU initiative, you can initiate actions not only towards clean and green themes, but towards other area including – education, health, social development, heritage restoration…etc.
