The Rotary Club Udaipur organized an event on the third day of the Breastfeeding Week at Shivajinagar Slum Area where Dr. Devendra Sareen, Child Specialists explained the importance of breastfeeding to women residents.

Dr. Sareen informed that how – not breastfeeding the kid can lead to several problems for the child as well as the mother.  All the women of the vicinity cross-questioned Dr. Sareen to get a better prospective on the topic.

Winners of a Breastfeeding questionnaire were also awarded.

Sushil Banthia, President, Rotary Club said, “In the present scenario, people should be aware of the myths and benefits of breastfeeding”.

O.P. Sahalot, Secretary, informed that a similar event would take place on August 4 at Aishwarya College.

Officials of the club including B.L. Mehta, Dr. B.L. Jain and Mahesh Salvi were also present at the event.
