Sindhi and Sikh community of Udaipur celebrated festival of Lal Loi and Lohri yesterday.

Mohan Sadhwani, Speaker, Jawahar Nagar Panchayat informed, “Newlywed couples and kids offered prayers in front of holy fire in the Lal Loi celebration at Jawahar Nagar.”

‘Laal Loi’ festival was celebrated with a lot of fun and happiness at Sindhu Dham, Jawahar Nagar by Poojya Sindhi Panchayat and Jawahar Nagar Yuva Seva Samiti.

On the other hand, Sikh community flocked to different Gurudwaras in the city to celebrate auspicious fest of Lohri.

Lohri was burnt at night at Sikh Colony. Lohri is also believed to be an important custom for new born babies and newly married couples.
