Central Public Senior Secondary School at New Bhopalpura celebrated Guru Purnima today. As part of the ceremony to mark the event, the students proceeded to garland their teachers, offered flowers and other mementos out of respect. Dr. R.K Sharma, Professor RNT Medical College was invited as the chief guest for the occasion.

Prof. Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that both students and teacher are the foundation stones of the life pyramid. A teacher, through his good deeds, has a huge impact on the life of their student, while these students take responsibility of being focused on good careers and life as a whole.

Alka Sharma, Director, CPS, in her short address to all the students encouraged and wished them luck, she advised students to do hard work as it is the best way to achieve your goal.

On the occasion George Kutty, Prem Shankar Jatav and Preeti Bhojwani were honoured for their role in the achievement of a strong result for the 12^th standard of the school. Students of 10^th standard were also honored for obtaining good results in the past.
