To celebrate the spirit of Holi, 10 members from team of Samanvay, Udaipur went to Prayas Aashram, Pratap Nagar Bypass and celebrated Holi in a different fashion with the kids of the aashram.

Prayas Aashram has their hostel in Pratap Nagar Bypass and runs a school in Bhopalpura, for mentally challenged kids. The head of the Aashram, Sunita Bhandari was doubtful at first about how the team from Samanvay will make the kids involve in the subject of celebrating Holi and gel with their team; however she was more than happy to see the end result today.

Kids were given a task to paint whatever comes in their mind with the use of Gulaal with water (no crayons or paint) and their fingers on blank sheets of paper.  The kids came up with some colorful and interesting pieces.

After a round of refreshment post the painting session, a member of Child Helpline also talked to the Aashram authorities and Samanvay members, about how their organization works for kids.

Kids also enjoyed playing Holi with the team members at the end of the event and the smile on their faces clearly signified the success of the event planned by Samanvay, Udaipur to make these kids indulge in the spirit of Holi.
