The 9 days of devotion and bliss came to an end today with a spellbinding Maha-Arti on the 9th and the last day of Navratri Celebration at Sutharwara, a tiny area of old city which is well known for its grand Navratri celebrations every year.
Statue of Goddess Durga placed on 43ft high pandal was worshipped by thousands of devotees. The maha aarti started at 8:30 followed by famous ritual of pushp varsha with intonating religious hymns.
The highly decorated street of Sutharwara was looking not less than a bejeweled ancient town. With all its ecstasy and spirituality, the devotional 9 nights of Navratra came to an end. From the entire team of UdaipurTimes.com, we wish all our readers a very Happy Dusshera!
