During the ongoing celebration of Maharana Pratap’s 474^thJayanti, local organizations paid tribute to Pratap’s faithful associates Hakim Khan Suri and Rana Punja.

At morning, a mushayra was held at Hakim Khan Suri’s memorial at Moti Magri, whereas at Reti Stand Chouraha, Rana Punja’s photo was garlanded.

Under the banner of Muslim Mahasabha, a mushayra was organized at Moti Magri where local poets narrated their poems focusing on the historical achievements of Maharana Pratap and other aspects pointing towards social and communal harmony etc.

Members of Muslim Mahasabha and Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha were present on the occasion.

Members of Sakal Adivasi Samaj (Mewar) gathered at Reti Stand Chouraha and remembered the contribution of Bhilu Rana in Pratap’s life.
