2 men have been arrested by Sukher police for stealing 1700 kilos of aluminium cables used for electricity. These men even attempted selling the cables in Pali district of Jodhpur.

As reported by contractor Lalit of M/S Sai Krupa Constructions and Electricals Company, aluminium cables weighing 1700 kilos were kept near a medical college in Bhilon ka Bedla area for electricity line work. The aforesaid cables got stolen on 9th October report of which was lodged in Sukher police station. The aluminium cables were worth 4 lakh rupees. Sukher police found the activities of Shankar Meena and Krantilal Dangi quite suspicious while police were on the lookout for the possible thieves. These 2 were taken under custody and interrogated after which they confessed to having stolen the cables. They revealed that they tried to sell the cables in Pali but ran away after they were asked for the relevant bill proving the purchase. The cable has been recovered and the two are in police remand so that details of other thefts can be found out from them.
