A youth has been sentenced to 20 years of jail for kidnapping and raping a 15 year old girl. The court also rejected the documents produced by the youth which were signed by the minor girl.

A 15 year old girl had gone missing in December 2018 and the mising report was filed by her father. She had left home on the pretext of extra class but her father learnt of the fact that there was no such thing happening in the school. The girl was in 10th grade at that time. She had also taken along the cash and FDs and other documents lying at home.

As informed by the girl, she had met Rajndra when she was at her maternal uncle's place during Diwali. Rajendra told her that he was working in films and could get her a role which would fetch her a lot of money. After this she returned home but stayed in touch with Rajendra. One fine day she was informed that she had bagged a role in one of the movies. Rajendra also asked her to meet him at UIT circle with some money and all her relevant documents. From there he took her to Jodhpur and here she met Narendra. They then went to a hotel and she was told that there was no such role in the movie and then raped her. Then he took her to his relative's house.

Narendra made them sign the marriage documents and they went to the court for marriage. Here the court on finding that she was a minor sent her to a welfare centre. The girl was taken to her grand parents' house where she revealed the facts. Prior to this, the girl and Rajendra had even approached High Court and asked for security presenting a document of agreement for live-in. Since she is a minor, the court rejected these documents and Rajendra was sentenced to 20 years of jail for mileading a minor girl under various sections of IPC.
