A youth attacked an auto rickshaw driver on Wednesday night. Crime is on the rise and we really wish it would stop.

A youth on bike attacked an auto rickshaw driver on Wednesday night in Jatwadi which falls under Clock Tower police station. The rick driver has received severe injuries on hand.

As reported in the police station by the rickshaw driver Zahid, he was on his way home when he was stopped by 2 youths on Jatwadi road. These youths were on a bike. Nadeem, the accused, got down from the bike and first started beating up Zahid. Then he attacked him with a knife and fled from the scene.

The rickshaw driver received severe injuries on hand and was rushed to the hospital by the public who had gathered there. The reason behind the attack has not yet been clarified, yet police suspects that some personal dispute between the two could be behind this.
