Two masked robbers aged about 20-25 years entered the State Bank’s sub branch office located on the main road of Hiran Magri Sector 4 with country made revolvers. As there was no security guard present at the entrance, the duo took control over the bank and pointed gun on the cashier Jaychand Thelani and asked him to handover the cash.

Soon, police reached the spot and started investigation with the help of close circuit cameras installed in the bank and asked the details from bank employees.

Alok Vashisht S.P Udaipur too reached the spot and inquired everything. He said that, by seeing the recorded scene it looks like the dacoits are not professionals, they have alerted every check post of the city and hopefully police will catch them.

The whole incident went on just for 2-4 minutes, it is because of the alertness of bank employees that the robbery failed. Much of the credit goes to the brave woman Renu Joshi.
