Sex Trade and Prostitution racket under the guise of Massage Parlours and Spas - 27 rounded up
Subsequent to the police raid on illegal call centers, Udaipur Police busted yet another illegal operation running across 5 centers in the city – this time it was body trade and prostitution racket.
Raids were conducted simultaneously at two centers of Shree Ji Spa, Ananta Group of Spas and Relax Spa operating near Fatehpura Circle, Sukhadia Circle area and UIT Circle. One Spa by the name of Lake View Spa at Goversdhan Vilas was also raided.
Course of Action
On receiving intelligence from their informants, a team of police officers formed under the Supervision of Addl SP Gopal Swarup Mewara raided 5 centers operating as Massage Parlors and Spas. The police team first sent constables to these centers in the form of customers.
Once the Constable cracked the deal with the owner and / or employees of the center, he sent signals to the raiding party and the team closed in on the centers ensuring that no one excaped.
27 people including 16 women were rounded up from these centers.
