Police strongly suspected the involvement of someone from the staff or the one who is familiar with hospital office in this offense and therefore all the staff members were put to investigation.

However, on the basis of the sketch released by the police, Kota police arrested Giriraj Kurmi s/o Hanuman Kurmi , who denied any involvement in the case but when he was asked strictly he accepted his crime.

Dinesh Singh Rohdia, SHO Hiran Magri Police station has immediately left for Kota with his team to bring the accused to Udaipur.

Giriraj’s brother, Mahendra had previously worked in GMCH and he was a culprit in one such case when cheques of about Rs. 4.5 lakhs were stolen and some action was also taken against him.

Mahendra came to Udaipur when police called all the employees; ex- and present for the investigation but he refused to recognize the photo of Giriraj who had been a regular visitor to his brother during his job in the hospital.

This deepens the doubt and it became concrete when he didn’t turn to police station next day and also switched off his mobile. It has been reported that the brothers belong to a farmer’s family and they have a Tent House in Kota.

It is expected that the accused would be brought to Udaipur by tomorrow morning.
