In a public misadventure today, a mentally handicapped person attacked a Readymade Showroom in Bapu Bazaar, damaging the showroom’s front glass window.

Bheru Lal Jat, the mentally challenged charged into the front window of ‘Brandmaal’ with a big metal rod for no particular reason.

The incident occurred at 12:30 in the afternoon. The attack shattered the entire front glass and the showroom’s owner’s elder son, Devendra Singh Kanda (Goldy) suffered head injuries as the broken glass splinters hit him.

Goldy was sitting on the showroom cash counter at that time.

Harinder Singh Kanda, the owner’s younger son informed the Surajpol Police about the incident. Bheru Lal Jat had fled from the scene by then.

Harinder added, “The insane attacker also threatened the passers-by on the street.”

A Police Official said, “Bheru Lal Jat has also been reported of causing nuisance in the Bapu Bazaar and Townhall area earlier.” The Police official added that the bearded skinny man known as Dr. Bheru Lal is usually cited with an empty glass bottle in his hand.
