A man who went under debt after being betrayed by business partner had fled from the city in 2013.

This news needs to be  given second thought. A man who went under debt fled from the city and was absconding since 2013, has been arrested recently by Hiranmagri police.

Wanted by police, the absconding Tarun Chopra basically a resident of Hiranmagri Sector 5 was under a debt of 10 lakh rupees. Tarun fled from the city as he could not repay this amount. Let us read on what happened and how he went under debt.

As informed to the police by Tarun, he had a partnership in a clothes shop. His business partners betrayed him and he fell into a debt of 2 lakh rupees initially. To repay this amount, he took loan on heavy interest. But this interest amount created a mess for him and the debt rose to 10 lakh rupees. His wife also left him barely 10 days after marriage because of debt. Since he was left alone and had no means of repayment, he left Udaipur without informing anyone. He went to Bhilwara where he worked as labour in a brick kiln. Here he was not paid anything but got food to eat. After this he started working at a cloth merchant's shop as a salesman. When he gathered some money, he opened his own cloth shop in Gangapur and married a woman hailing from Assam.

Since he had left Udaipur without informing anyone, a missing report was lodged in Bhupalpura police station by his brother. Recently when he came to Udaipur at the demise of a family member, he was caught. There are cases of fraud and cheque dishonour going on against him in various courts.
