A 15 year old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang raped by 5 people at Dungarpur district. The victim girl is a student of a 9 class, said  the investigating officer of the case Deputy Sp Ratan Chawla. Chawla said that a case has been registered against five accused under section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, section 363 of Indian Penal Code (Punishment for Abduction) and Section 376 (Punishment for Rape) at Dowra police station of the district based on the complaint of the victim on Wednesday. 

In her report the victim girl stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday when she was walking towards her school, on her way to school one Raju Meena of the village met her near Pagara village, they forcibly pushed her inside their car and took her away towards the forest, where one of the accused raped her. Later they took her to an isolated room where three of them again raped her and dropped her on the road near Mathugamara village of the district, said Chawla.

Deputy Sp Chawla further said that in her report  the victim girl further stated that she somehow managed to call her parents with the help of the locals of the area,the parents immediately rushed to the spot and took her back to the house later lodged an FIR at Dowra police station, Chawla added further.

Chawla said " We have received the complaint of the victim girl and on the basis of that a case has been registered against five accused under sections of POCSO Act and sections of IPC and the investigation of the matter is underway.The medical examination of the victim girl has been conducted. Apart from that a hunt fotr accused has also been launched". In another incident of rape a 16 year old girl has been allegedly raped by the landlord, here at  Savina police station circle of Udaipur on Wednesday. 

As per Sp Bhuvan Bhushan the victim girl was alone at her rented house when the 60 year old accused entered the house and raped her. She later informed her relatives about the incident. They took her to the hospital for medical examination in which rape got confirmed.They later registered a complaint against the landlord at Savina police station based on which the police registered a case under sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Indian Penal Code and arrested the accused on Thursday morning.
