A late night murder in Ghodi village, Rhishbhdeo caused a furore in the otherswise calm village last evening.

In what seems to be an inter family dispute, an argument between two families in the village last evening resulted in an altercation.  Both families began pelting stones at each other.

Matters became worse and a sword fight ensued. Attackers belonging to one group attacked members of the other family with knives and swords and ruthllessly murdered a husband and wife.

Onlookers informed the police and teams from 5 police stations reached the village late in the night to bring matters under control. The dead bodies of Banshi Lal Meena and his wife Laxmi Bai have been sent to the mortuary.
