A youth was attacked with a sword in Clock Tower area late night on Wednesday. The attackers escaped and are yet to be traced.

In a matter of mutual dispute, Raza was attacked by Irfan with a sword. It was also reported that it was a case of mistaken identity where Irfan actually wanted to attack Shaqir, father of Raza, who has a family dispute with Irfan.

As reported to police by Majid, he was having his car repaired late night on Wednesday on the new bridge which falls under Clock Tower police station. Raza was also with him. Mohammed Shakir, Irfan khan and 2 others reached there on bikes and attacked Raza with a sword. They mistook Raza as Shaqir and attacked him with a sword on  head. Raza got seriously injured. The attackers ran away when public collected at that place. Friends rushed the injured youth to a private hospital. Police searched for the attackers but they were nowhere to be found. Investigations are still on in this case.
