The devotees flocked to Jagdish Temple on the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi which is celebrated in the month of Jyeshtha in Shukla Paksha.
The day comprised of several religious practices of keeping fast and visiting temples. Besides, the day is also celebrated as Kite Flying Day in Udaipur.
Hundreds of devotees flocked to various temples in the city including Jagdish Mandir, Shrinathji, Baijiraj Kund, Vitthalnathji, Jagat Shiromani temple, Shyam Sunder Temple, Gokul Chandrama ji, Mathuradishji and others.
The sky was filled with gigantic and colorful kites at Fateh Sagar in the evening which was attended by thousands of Udaipurites. On Sunday, Udai Kite Club will host Kite Mahotsav in the loving memory of international kite flyer Late Abdul Malik. Various social messages will be imparted through 300 kites on that day.
