Achievers, a local body of professionals led by Amit Mathur, conducted their second session under DISHA, which is an activity being conducted with college students and job seekers in the city.
After having completed a successful interactive session at BN University, the team led by Achievers Director Amit Mathur spoke to students and teachers at the Meera Girls College. The session, held at MG College in joint association with NSS department at MG College on 28 September was attended by most students and faculty members of the college.
Students were advised on the practical approach to choosing a career and skill development while doing their studies and thereon. Advice on interview skills, identification of self potential, right attitude, confidence, writing and conversation skills was also provided by the experts, who also handled questions from the audience.
Amit Mathur was accompanied by Rajiv Verma, ex-AVP, HDFC Bank, Deepak Verma, Manager HR at Fortis Udaipur, Ekta Jain, HR Manager at Five Splash.
Dr Ritu Matharu, Principal at MG College emphasized on the overall development of the students and advised them to be prepared for the challenges life has to offer. Vinita Kothari of NSS, Prof Vandana, Prof Dashora were among the faculty members present at the workshop.
Sonal Singhvi and Parichay Sharma from Achivers coordinated the event.
