30 schools of Udaipur district have been selected as model schools for the Project Utkarsh which is regulated to utilize IT to increase the effectiveness in education and make the process of teacher-learning simple and efficient.

The project has been initiated by district collector Rohit Gupta with Hindustan Zinc’s CSR initiative and is regulated with the help of Elementary Education Department, Udaipur and Moinee Foundation, Jaipur.

District education officer Shivji Gaur said that 316 ICT schools have been distributed over 28 blocks out of which 1 model school in each block is selected.

Foundation’s Director Dr. Vijay Vyas informed that before the commencement of the inspection process, 7 schools of Gogunda, Sayra, Kotra, Kherwada, Naya Gaanv, Som and Khaakhad had various activities organized for the students, teachers and staff.
