Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur organized a 6 day online workshop on Introduction to Design of Algorithm in collaboration with ISTE and IIT Kharagpur, National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Govt. of India) from 25th to 30th May 2015.

Faculty members from CSE, ECE and Mathematics department participated in the workshop. Eminent Speakers from IIT Kharagpur Prof. P.P. Chakrabarti, Director, Prof. P. P. Das, Professor CSE and Prof. Pallab Dasgupta, Professor CSE, in their lectures threw light on designing of algorithms.

The Instructors covered the contents starting from basics of Data Structure to Advance part of Algorithm Design. Main emphasis was given on Randomization, NP Completeness and Approximation Algorithm. The workshop was very informative and was attended enthusiastically by all.
