Career Counseling and Placement Cell, BN University organised a seminar in collaboration with Faculty of Commerce and Management on “Student interaction with corporate Human Resource Managers “.  The event was done in association with Achievers Consulting, under their flagship program Disha.

HR head of Golcha group Vishu Rai and Poonam Doongarwal from Export Mining (IT sector)delivered interactive sessions. They explained to students about present scenario of service industry and role of HR and talent search. They also explained about challenges of expectation gap between industry and academics.  Students and faculty members asked relevant questions from Interviews to work culture to CSR and modern operational management of corporate.

The event was a successful maiden event by the Career Counseling and Placement Cell at BN University.  Students participated enthusiastically and it was noticed that students were interacting with the speakers and not hesitating in asking questions.  Faculty members also took advantage of this learning opportunity, which was a unique initiative by the Cell.

Amit Mathur from Achievers in his interaction with the students said that if success has to be achieved, we need to be practical in our approach. The corporate speakers also shared basic tips for interviews and CV making.

Bhanu Kapil from the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of BN University, offered his appreciation to those present during the event, viz. Dean of Commerce and Management, Dr Abhay Jaroli, Dr. Rajni Arora, Dr. Anjum Mehtab, Dr. Shubhi Dhakad , Dr. Dimple Gaud , Dr. Ruchi Singh and Dr. Rahul Khanna for their active support.  Kapil also thanks CFAO of BN University Parvat Singh for his active and moral support and said that the Career Counseling and Placement Cell of B.N. University would organize such sessions in the future as well.
