College of Dairy and Food Science Technology is introducing Milk Parlors where students will undertake retail counters constructed in the college as a part of campus training. This training will be additional to the regular 6 months out of campus training.

Dr. G.K Mathur, professor of the college informed that the stalls are already constructed but the inauguration is pending due to the Election Code of Conduct.

While informing about the program, Prof Mathur said, “During the 6 month training, students will understand marketing and sales of the product. In addition to this, the college will get some revenue.”

All the products will be produced and prepared by the students. Products like Amla products, Pickles, Rose Syrup, Tomato Ketchup and Breads are already being prepared every day.

“All dairy products like Ghee, Butter, Paneer, Curd and Milk will be available in lower price than the market rate,” said G.K Mathur.
