“There are certain subjects that form the base for the profession you choose, the career you live”, were the words that Vineet Baya, Career Counselor at Udaipur, chose to begin his talk, while interacting with students at Seedling Modern Public School, Udaipur.

Nearly 100 students participated in a 90 minute presentation by Vineet Baya, when he created a career assessment dialogue with students who were all ears during the session.

Vineet spoke at length about how certain subjects need to be addressed and dealt with when approaching senior classes, and how these subject form the core of the career decisions taken during the final year at school.

He dwelt upon the process that the children approaching Class X need to adhere to while defining their goals for the future and emphasized on selecting the right subjects in Class XI, which will be mandatory for all forms of career, be it the vanilla careers or tangent careers like commercial flying, Law, Research, etc.

Mathematics and Language, be it English or Hindi are a must and nothing prepares a child better than regular voracious reading and practice.

The session, which was also attended by Principal Maken, Vice Principal Shikha and Director, Hardeep Bakshi enabled the children to understand the approach and resolve their queries.
