Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies organised an expert training session on Image Building and Corporate Etiquette to prepare the students who will enter the workforce and join the corporate world. 

Director, Prof. Dr. K.N.Sheth stated that the purpose of this training was to enhance the skills and knowledge of students in the area of business etiquette with guidance from an expert in the field. The student would learn how to present themselves and treat others properly and respectfully in a business or corporate environment. Teaching corporate etiquette would help boost student’s confidence which in turn will enable them to excel and succeed in today’s corporate culture.

Prof. Lalit Chande, Life Coach and Motivational Trainer, covered a wide range of topics that included personal image building, creating positive first impressions, staying motivated and creating a brand of oneself to succeed consistently in all endeavours.  Through a series of presentations and role-playing he instructed the students how to communicate effectively, improve physical appearance and gave techniques for self-exploration and improvement.

The students from all branches of engineering, MBA and MCA attended the training followed by a question and answer round at the end. Arvind Singh Pemawat, Head Training and Placement emphasised the importance of such training sessions as these enhance the prospects of the students during the recruitment process.
