Today, on 16^th June, a one day Career Fair is being held by District Administration, Department of Employment and Science College. Many organizations from different sectors like Insurance, Security, Plant Automation, Electrical Engineering, Ship Breaking, Textiles, Heavy Machinery and Earth Movers, Telecommunication, Service and Hospitality came down in hunt of suitable candidates.

Mr. Dhanpat Singh (Distt. Employment Officer Udaipur and Dungarpur) told that more than 3000 candidates have visited the fair since 9 a.m. in the morning and participated in the on the spot interviews. There are more than 1000 job openings in the Udaipur Divison which are being offered by this fair.

Desks of ICICI Prudential, Walsons Security, Nexus Security, Pyrotech Electronics, Alang and Pipwa Ship Breakers, Reliance Chemotex, S.R.S.L. Dungarpur, Narayan Sewa Sansthan and Uday Vilas hotels were most occupied.

Representatives of different companies are collecting resumes, explaining the merits and growth avenues in their respective industry. IICE Computer Institute is also present to provide information on job oriented courses available with them.

Most of the job openings are for entry level positions. Job seekers are supposed to reach the Fair venue with their Bio-Data and submit it with a prescribed form either to Dept. of Employment or the Company they wish to apply for.

It is quiet appreciable effort on part of Employment Deptt. to bring different industries under one roof and let the candidates learn and compare among them.
