International Seminar on Management Starts

The two day International seminar under the auspices of the Faculty of Management Studies, on ‘Exponential Growth of Management Practices: Progress and Aspects’ was inaugurated today at the MLSU Seminar Hall. The Technical session, which started at 2 PM, witnessed discussions on Finance, and Marketing. Prof. Shiv Prasad, Dean, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak led the discussion on Finance, while the Marketing session was headed by Prof. B.P. Sharma, Pro President, Pacific University, Udaipur.

The Technical session, which started at 2 PM, witnessed discussions on Finance, and Marketing. Sharma, Pro President, Pacific University, Udaipur.

Addressing the guests, the Chief Guest of the program, Prof. Janat Shah, Director, I.I.M, Udaipur said, “We need to conserve our natural resources if we want to safeguard our future.”

The guest of Honor Prof. Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Jaipur said, “Along with ensuring economic stability, we should also take care of our natural resources using new techniques made available to us.”

“An American user is consuming 30% more resources than a fellow Indian user. We implicitly have resource conservation in our Indian culture ethics”, said Dr. Ashok Ogra, Regional Director, Discovery Channel, Asia acting as the keynote speaker.

He also added that, “Indian economy would be leading in world by 2050, and India should be considered as a symbol of joint heritage for all nations.”

Dr. P.K. Jain, Director, Faculty of Management Studies, MLSU informed that they have integrated moral values with management studies for the students. Dr. HanumanPrasad also stated his views at the event.

Dr. Manmohan Yadav, Assistant Profesor, I.I.F.T, Bhopal delivered a talk on how business activities are adversely affecting nature. Candidates from different nations participated in the event.
