The initiation of the National Education Policy (NEP) aims to enhance higher education. As part of this initiative, colleges affiliated with Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur are gearing up for examinations following the semester system. Students enrolled in these colleges will undergo assessments aligned with the semester system. However, it is noteworthy that various courses in Udaipur colleges are still pending completion. Efforts are underway to address this and ensure the comprehensive implementation of the semester-based examination approach.

Given the circumstances, students are now grappling with the repercussions of incomplete preparation. Adding to the challenge, internal exams have been held in some colleges due to the upcoming legislative elections, while others are still pending.

According to the National Education Policy (NEP), programs can be tailored to suit the needs of various subjects. These programs may encompass term tests, projects, home assignments, workshops, seminars and surveys. The execution of these activities will be subject-specific, ensuring relevance to the course content. Importantly, this program will also be applicable to undergraduate students.

The university administration faced delays in preparing curriculum and implementing the semester system as per the National Education Policy. Consequently, both the university and the students are currently encountering difficulties as a result of these setbacks.

Attendance during the initial term test at the university is mandatory for all students. Additional assessment points will be awarded based on performance in the term test, providing students with a valuable advantage.
