Students of Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) may soon get an opportunity to perform their research with Space Application Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad . The discussions for collaboration are at an advanced stage and an MoU is likely to be signed soon between both the bodies.

A team of experts under the direction of Professor I.V Trivedi discussed the MoU with officials of SAC and both have indicated positive consent.

After the indenture, MLSU and SAC can work together on Research Project, Collaborative Research, Academic Activities, Extension Program, Community Development Program etc. The organizations can conduct many other research works including environment change, natural resource management, earth science, aravali habitat, urban development and planning etc.

Professor Trivedi has shown keen interest in working with SAC, especially in their Social Development work in tribal area.

The programs will be conducted by Respond Research Sponsor Program managed by Department of Space Science, Gov. of India.

Prof Trivedi informed that in future, the work done at the University could be transported via satellite and that will boost the movement of regional information.

Prof. P.R. Vyas, Porf. N.S Rathod and Prof. S.N.A Jaffery accompanied Prof I.V Trivedi while A.S Kiran Kumar project director, Dr. R. P Dubey & V.S Pasgule director of Project Group represented the SAC team.
