Hundreds of students took part in the National Standard Examination of International Science Olympiad held today at St Gregorios School.

Starting from morning 9:30 am, exams of physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and Junior Science were conducted in different time frames on the first session today.

Organized under the banner of Physics Teachers Association, Pune and Homi Bhabha Center of Science Education, Mumbai, students of 23 schools of Udaipur attempted the exam.

The final five students (from each category) from all over India will represent on International Level. The results of today’s exams will be released in January 2014.

According to examination in charge Satya Bhushan Sharma, 64 students appeared in the first exam of Physics while 69 students attempted in Chemistry exams while 53 students took part in Biology, Astronomy and Junior Science.
