A Three Day workshop on “Advance Web Technologies” started at Aishwarya College jointly organized by Computer Society of India, Udaipur Chapter and Aishwarya Institute of Management and IT.

In inaugural session, Mazher Hussain, Organizing Secretary stated the objectives of the workshop.

Chief guest Jitendra Verma, Technical Director, National Informatics Centre, GOI talked about importance of new technologies in implementing the e-governance applications. ML Talesra, Chairman, CSI Udaipur given the basic ideas of Web Technologies and tools availability for web designing.

Key Note address is delivered by Dr. Azimuddin Khan, Dr. Khan explained the Importance of HTML over others tools. He further showed the ten important reasons for starting development in HTML5.

National Workshop on Advance Web Technologies Begins

The reasons are Audio/Video Support, Accessibility through better semantics, Cross Browser support, DocType tag, more Cleaner Code, Smarter Storage for collecting client side information, better Interaction, Game Development using Canvas, Easy for Mobile application development, Offline support of application and its future standards. He asked participant to learn with good interest because it has good job prospects.

Dr. Rajveer Sekhawat, Regional Student Coordinator, CSI inspired and motivated participants to adopt these new technologies in their life. Dr. Archana Golevarkar conducted the programme.

In two sessions, Ganesh Suthar and Mohit, corporate trainer conducted the details training from Basic of HTML to HTML5 new features. Day Two will be dedicated to CSS 3 with HTML5.
