In order to improve the quality of education in Government Schools and create interest of students in study, Ashutosh A.T. Pedanekar, District Collector has taken a unique initiative by launching ‘Project Utkarsh’ – a Quiz Based Learning System (Quiz Academy).

In order to improve the quality of education in Government Schools and create interest of students in study, Ashutosh A.T. Pedanekar, District Collector has taken a unique initiative by launching ‘Project Utkarsh’ – a Quiz Based Learning System (Quiz Academy).

The project is in collaboration with Moinee Foundation and Education Department. The official launching of pilot project held at Govt. Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School, Chetak Circle, Udaipur.

During the pilot project, 9th class students of 12 government schools of 12 blocks of Udaipur will be benefited. Along with Quiz Academy, Study Buddy app will be installed in all laptops, tablets and computers distributed by governments.

The launching ceremony was organized under the presence of Ashutosh Pedanekar (Honorable District Collector), Arvind Thanvi (Chief Mentor, Moinee Foundation), Krishna Chouhan (District Education Officer), Bharat Mehta (Deputy Director-Education Department) and Khel Shankar Vyas (ADEO).

Talking about Quiz Academy, Director of Moinee Foundation Vijay Vyas told that Quiz Academy is an online platform for quiz based learning system which facilitates users to play, create, contribute and share quizzes on any subject matter.

Quizzes can be of Multiple Choice Questions/Image Based/Audio-Video based questions. Its simplicity, interactivity and interesting approach makes it a useful micro-learning, teaching and assessment tool.

It records all the activities (No. of Quizzes played, Time-Taken, User-Engagement etc.) of users and provides real time feedback on performance.

Throwing light on Study –Buddy app, Vyas told that, “It’s a unique and single app, through a reader/student can read all the NCERT Text books of 6-12 class chapter- wise in Hindi and English.”

For additional knowledge, he can directly go to web link. In Study-Buddy app, there is one section “Laboratory in Computer” in which more than 200 experiments of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology are there.

User can do all the experiments in his laptop or computer. This app has been developed by Moinee Systems under the guidance of Arvind Thanvi (Chief Technology Officer, Moinee Systems) and technical assistance of Priyanka Pareek, Vinay Bissa and Maneesh Sharma.
